Here we describe our vision of the NutsDAO platform, which we target to finish in 18-36 months, the detailed plan and timeline will be presented in the Roadmap section.
Card Shuffling and Dealing
Card shuffling and dealing will be done by the client in a P2P manner, the server wonβt know the cards in advance. All platforms are focused on RNG, eliminating the possibility that: even if you have the perfect RNG, the server may still know that all the cards are in the deck. The server usually shuffles with the card face up, this leaves a loophole in the whole system, leaving the deck vulnerable to hacks and unethical insiders. We will use cryptology to make sure that no parties (including the server) know the cards in advance, players can only reveal their own cards using their own private key. This core component will be open source for all to challenge.
Non-custodian Withdrawal and Deposit
Players will deposit their assets into a smart contract. The game client will publish hand results, which allows the smart contract (and everyone) to calculate the profit and loss for any specific players. With this information public and verifiable, any player can withdraw their asset (based on their latest PnL) from the smart contract. This core component will be deployed on blockchain and get audited by established smart contract auditors.
With this component released, we will remove ourselves to avoid exposure to credit risk.
Revenue Distribution
All project revenue will be distributed, which makes NutsDAO a non-profit. More details are presented in the Revenue distribution section. With hand results on chain and users' funds in a smart contract, NutsDAO's DAO token smart contract will distribute the PnL automatically based on the configuration.
DAO
NutsDAO's governance includes:
How to distribute revenue, how much % is allocated for different pools.
Initiating a new PTE (Play-to-Earn) event, for example, an MTT (Multi-table Tournament) event with a 20% bonus boost from the PTE pool.
Whether to allow a new GUI provider to connect to the NutsDAO ecosystem.
How to use the 25% fund, options are to Burn, distribute to PTE, distribute to Staking etc.
The First Step
With our vision, we will be releasing our products step by step. A centralized game will be released in Q1 2023. The centralized game also has a PTE pool and revenue distribution, the only difference is: it will be done in a centralized manner, with as much transparency as possible.
